Ronnie is one of the many superstars who have changed their lives due to our Weight Management Programme…..this is what he had to say to one of our delivery officers, Anna.
Ronnie’s why is: to look after himself once he’d recovered from covid and to get fitter to play with his grandson.
‘The best decision I made was joining Weight Management’. I really enjoyed meeting the staff, they were so helpful, so good at what they do and don’t judge.
Ronnie used to think the gym was for posers but the Weight Management team helped him to see that in Invigor8 gyms ‘everyone just gets on with their own workout’ .
It’s the little things that make a big difference: Ronnie used to never do any physical activity. Now he takes a large detour to get to the corner shop to buy his paper every morning. He’s planning ahead for his holiday in a few weeks and told his wife ‘When we go to Benidorm there’s no way we’re sitting next to the pool all the time, we’re going to walk up and down the prom’.
Ronnie told us 20 years ago he could never have seen himself doing an hour in the gym, never mind 6 weeks ago! Ronnie’s advice is: ‘Just come and do it! Speak to the team who are so helpful, they listen and advise you but don’t push you’
